Let's say you have a large number of photos from your last vacation and you would like to rename them all using a certain pattern. You can't just start renaming every single file because this will take forever. If you have a lot of image folders, than manually renaming files is definitely not a good idea. A good idea would be using a special software that can automatically rename files using various patterns and settings. One such program is RenameMaestro. The software can automatically rename a series of files, no matter what format they are, using various rules.

The installation of RenameMaestro is very easy to perform and the program can be run from any version of the Windows operating system. Regarding system resources, they won't be affected by running the program. Furthermore, the hard disk space occupied by the program's folder is about 5 MB, which is extremely low compared to other similar programs.

The interface of RenameMaestro is split into two sections, the left one containing the original unnamed files and the other, all the renamed files. Files can be added into the program simply by dragging them into the interface. After completing this, the user can simply select a type of renaming option. He's got a lot of options to choose from, like replacing certain text or inserting letters and numbers into file names. Files and folders can also be added into RenameMaestro using the well known open file dialog window.

After the process is complete, the renamed files and folders will be displayed in the right part of the interface. The program can be configured to skip renaming certain operating system files because changing them may cause stability issues.
